New Adelaide Torrens Riverbank footbridge shines

 The switch was flicked on Adelaide's Riverbank Footbridge over the weekend, bringing the final visions of a bridge with waterfall and light show to life. The bridge formed a grand opening piece to the redevelopment of the riverbank, Aurecon technical director Niko Tsoukalas told 891 Weekends The controversially costed $40 million footbridge prematurely, partially opened to allow cricket fans to traverse from the train station in December 2013.
