Castor designs gold-foil reflector floor lamp in nod to company's namesake

The reflector floor lamp, by Canadian studio castor design, features gold-foiled leather stretched across a circular frame. An LED bulb housed in the lamp’s stem directs light toward the diffuser, where its foil texture catches and reflects an ambient an embedded power switch occupies the top of the stem, and the diffuser clips on via friction-fit. a black, powder-coated finish gives prominence to the leather reflector.
