Chico in California to Replace 6,000 Streetlights with LEDs

Chico, a city in California, U.S. will be replacing its streetlights with more efficient LED lights in the next four to six weeks, reported The Orion. The Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) will supply the lights and head the project. The company will invest more than US $1.1 million in the next four years, which is expected to save $243,183 in power supply.
