You may already be aware of the WEEE Regulations which require electrical and electronic equipment to be recycled when it reaches end-of-life. As well as toasters and hairdryers, small WEEE includes compact fluorescent lamps (or low-energy light bulbs), but did you know that since May last year, LEDs have also been
classed by the Environment Agency as “in scope” for the WEEE Regulations?
