Seoul Semiconductor's LED-Lighted Path
Seoul Semiconductor Corp. had annual revenue of about $100 million when Shin Ce-gill, who spent a 36-year career with Samsung companies, came in as chairman 10 years ago. In the decade since, the company has grown nearly 10 times larger, almost entirely by selling components for light-emitting diodes, or LEDs, and is now aiming for its first $1 billion year.
