Holiday decor shoppers opting for more LED lights, live trees

Julie and Kevin started their Christmas ornament shopping Saturday thinking they might buy a Moravian star. Instead, Kevin walked out of Stauffers of Kissel Hill, 301 Rohrerstown Road, carrying an artificial twig tree illuminated by LEDs. The Bainbridge couple declined to give their last name. But their signature was all over a continuing hot trend this year in Christmas decorations: light-emitting diodes.
