LEDs to illuminate streets of Raj cities

Streets in urban Rajasthan would now be illuminated with the energy efficient and smart light emitting diode (LED) bulbs. The state government on Friday signed an MoU with a public sector company to replace 16.5 lakh conventional streetlights with LEDs in 44 of its municipalities over the next two years.
