The city had landed a $15,000 grant that will be used to help residents
replace old, incandescent light bulbs with modern, energy-efficient bulbs. Mayor Harry W. Rilling and Councilman John Kydes, chairman of the
Mayor's Energy and Environment Task Force, on Friday were presented the
check for the city's participation in Clean Energy Communities program. The Bright Idea Grant will pay for a free Light Bulb Swap that will be
held Saturday, Sept. 19, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., in the Community Room of
City Hall, 125 East Ave.
