Traffic signals to be replaced with LEDs

Three local municipalities will get more than $35,000 from the state’s Green-Light Go program to improve 17 intersections. The Borough of Shippensburg and Washington Township will replace traffic lamps with light-emitting diode modules and get battery backup at some intersections.
