LEDs to light up Sonepur streets

The town's streets will undergo a complete overhaul with the old halogen lights being replaced by LED bulbs. District collector Dasarathi Satapathy recently launched the programme from the Maa Sureswari Temple here by switching on the LEDs that have been installed on the premises. Satapathy said 2,082 LED bulbs would be installed in the town's 15 wards. "Sonepur will shortly have LEDs in all wards. The work is expected to be completed by the end of May.
