Assam to Install Standalone Solar LED Streetlights

The Urban Development Department of Assam (India) will be installing standalone solar LED street lights across the urban bodies of the state. The solar street lights will replace existing traditional lights that burden the state’s power consumption bill. The project is expected to take 9 months or 270 days.
