Mount Prospect’s village street lights will soon be fitted with new LED fixtures, saving the village money in the long run and consuming less energy.

In April trustees approved a bid from Graybar to purchase LED lights and associated accessories in an amount to not exceed $47,855.25. This purchase will begin the process of replacing the current light bulbs with LED lights.
