Catalan city of Terrassa undertook a major municipal lighting retrofit

 

The Catalan city of Terrassa recently undertook a major municipal lighting retrofit using LED-based luminaires from seven different manufacturers yet achieved a uniform SSL control scheme by specifying Tridonic drivers throughout the project.

The project involved the retrofit of 29,000 light points.

Terrassa and its contractor imesAPI SA undertook the solid-state lighting (SSL) project knowing that it would involve many different luminaire types, with the goal of achieving uniform lighting and control capabilities.
