Korean grower opts for (Signify) LEDs

Signify Korea has installed 1,306 units of Philips GreenPower Top Lighting Compact in the glass greenhouse of Parm Farm, providing specialized cultivation consulting along with optimized supplemental lighting tips for tomatoes.

Signify Korea (formerly Philips Lighting Korea) has applied Philips LED horticulture solution to all 2.8HA of a smart farm glass greenhouse.

This helped to create an optimized environment for plant growth, increase harvest in the rainy season with little sunshine, and dramatically improve plant quality. It may also contribute to greater farmhouse income by increasing the annual tomato production and provide a stable supply of tomatoes for consumers.
