Daktronics Powers Massive Display Integration at New Titans Stadium

Daktronics has been tapped to design and install an expansive 37-display system spanning over 77,000 square feet at the Tennessee Titans’ new Nissan Stadium, set to open in 2027. This scale will place the venue among the top three in the NFL for total display square footage. As part of the partnership, Daktronics will also serve as the Official Large Display Partner for the state-of-the-art facility.

During his final investor call in March, outgoing Daktronics CEO Reece Kurtenbach referenced the project—then unnamed—as a major achievement for the company.

A highlight of the installation is the “Ring of Fire,” a first-of-its-kind LED display encircling the entire upper bowl. This massive display will stand 13 feet tall and stretch 2,275 feet in circumference, with 10mm pixel spacing to ensure high-resolution visuals.

Additional displays will be featured throughout the stadium, including the exterior, concourses, vomitory entrances and exits, and the seating bowl itself. Ribbon boards and main end zone video displays will deliver immersive fan experiences.

The primary end zone displays will measure 41 feet high by 343 feet wide—approximately 1.6 times the size of the current Nissan Stadium’s east end zone screen. Secondary displays in the northwest and southwest corners will measure 41 by 136 feet. The east end zone screen alone will cover more than 14,000 square feet.

Across the seating fascia and above access points, 23 ribbon and vomitory displays will add another 17,000 square feet of dynamic content space.
