Miro Equips New Modular Dutch Headquarters with Sony Display Technology to Power Global Collaboration

Miro, the visual collaboration platform with more than 60 million users worldwide, has selected Sony display solutions for its new 10,000-square-metre modular and flexible office in the Netherlands. The installation, delivered by AV integrator Windside Digital, includes over 40 Sony BRAVIA Professional Displays across meeting rooms and a flagship Sony Crystal LED (CLED) display in the building’s café and event space.

The project reflects Miro’s mission to create innovative and inspiring workplaces for its employees and partners. Designed to support creativity and collaboration across global teams, the new headquarters is built as a modular environment where every space can flexibly adapt to meet hybrid working needs.

As part of the deployment, Windside Digital installed a total of 40 Sony BRAVIA Professional Displays across more than 40 meeting rooms. Models include the BZ40L and BZ30L series, ranging from 50-inch to 75-inch sizes. These displays deliver outstanding 4K HDR picture quality, Pro Mode for flexible configuration, and seamless integration with leading conferencing solutions.

A key factor in Miro’s decision was Sony’s Deep Black Non-Glare (DBNG) technology, available on the BZ40L and BZ53L series. This feature ensures vivid, high-contrast images even in bright meeting rooms with glass walls, providing clarity without distracting reflections. For a company focused on creativity and communication, having crystal-clear visuals in every meeting was considered essential.

In everyday use, the BRAVIA displays enable easy video conferencing, collaborative whiteboarding sessions, and presentations with international colleagues, ensuring that distributed teams remain fully connected.

At the heart of the new office is a large-scale Sony CLED display from the CH Series, mounted in its Flexible Stand configuration, installed in the café and social space. With its ultra-fine pixel pitch, wide colour gamut and exceptional brightness, the CLED creates a stunning canvas for company-wide events, presentations, and immersive experiences. The display functions as a focal point for all-hands meetings and live broadcasts, embodying Miro’s values of openness and inclusivity.

While DBNG performance was the primary deciding factor, sustainability was also an important consideration for Miro. Sony’s professional display portfolio incorporates energy-saving features such as automatic light sensors and efficient power management. The use of SORPLAS recycled plastic in many BRAVIA models further reduces environmental impact.
