LG seeks leading role in PLS market

LG Electroincs said Thursday that it set up a 90-lamp plasma lighting system (PLS) in the stadium of San Lorenzo, the Argentine professional sports club. PLS is a new concept of lighting that utilizes the principle of light emission through microwaves which results in continuous emissions of bright light. It is similar to sunlight and is one of the most efficient light sources without a high amount of heat. So it is ideal for sports arenas.
