Goa catch down; LEDs blamed by fishermen

A shortfall in marine fish catch in the Indian state of Goa has been reported over the last year, reports the Times of India. The Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute has now been asked to study the impact of LED lights on marine resources, which Goa's traditional fishermen claim have been negatively impacting production. The state has already issued an order banning the use of LEDs for fishing.
