Inland cities glow with LED streetlights

The look of American streets at night is changing. Cities around the country are replacing the fuzzy yellow glow of traditional streetlights with brighter, more energy-efficient LED fixtures. Some Inland cities are part of the trend. Riverside has been testing LED streetlights on several major thoroughfares since late 2014 and plans a citywide changeover in the next several years.
