Giant Russian Greenhouse Shows LEDs Swaying Light Bulb Die-Hards

About 350 kilometers west of Moscow, in a farming region too cold to grow produce for more than a few months a year, greenhouses stretching into the horizon are being equipped with something of a revolution. 1. The agriculture market is witnessing a transition from traditional method to advanced urban farming. Smart greenhouse is a type of urban farming of cultivating crops without human intervention. Smart greenhouses have a strong presence and are increasing all over the world. Europe is an early adopter of smart greenhouses and holds a major market share. However, developing regions such as APAC and RoW are witnessing impressive growth in the market. The increasing urbanization and development is one of the main reasons for the demand for urban farming in these regions. The Middle East is the largest-growing country in the RoW region in the smart greenhouse market.
