Fraunhofer Shows Modular OLED Light Strips

At the International Symposium on Automotive Lighting 2019 (ISAL) in Darmstadt the Fraunhofer Institute for Organic Electronics, Electron Beam and Plasma Technology FEP, demonstrated OLED light strips of any length with additional functionalities for the first time. Scientists at the Fraunhofer FEP have now succeeded in producing light strips from individual organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs). What is special about this innovation is that the OLED light strips act like a single luminous surface without interruption.
