Bay Village traffic lights switching to LED

Traffic signals in Bay Village (Cleveland) are being changed out from incandescent lightbulbs to LED bulbs all across the city. The work extends through this week and the next two weeks. “FirstEnergy is paying for the whole thing if we finish by Feb. 12,” said Jonathan Liskovec, the city’s director of public service and properties. “They will reimburse us 100 percent for the product. Our personnel cost is rolled into normal operations. We just shift priorities as we usually do on a day-to-day basis.”
