New LED lighting tested in downtown Birmingham

LED lights are being tested under the bridge decks recently constructed at I-59/20 in downtown Birmingham. There will be  24,000 linear feet of the mutli-colored LED lights when the project is completed and another 2,000 linear feet of general LED lighting. Stone & Sons of Birmingham is installing the LED as a subcontractor for Johnson Bros. Corp.. The lights currently alternate red, blue, green and light purple.
