BP Oddo announces funding for permanent lighting improvements at Postcards Memorial

Borough President James Oddo  announced the funding for necessary electrical and lighting work at the Postcards 9/11 Memorial in St. George to permanently illuminate the space at Staten Island.

Oddo said he was recently alerted that the lighting had gone out and worked with EDC to create a temporary solution.

Saltwater intrusion has caused significant damage to the original underground lighting, which is now in constant need of attention and repair.
