LED-maker Sensor Electronic to expand

A Canadian company that makes ultraviolet light components plans to put $20 million into an expansion of its Columbia operations. Sensor Electronic Technology Inc. said Monday that the expansion will create 150 new jobs. The company now has a 15,000-square-foot facility with 68 employees. It will add 5,000 square feet and said it could grow to 130,000 square feet.
