This 3D skull is actually a 2D lamp designed for the MoMA
This skull lamp, designed by Israeli artist Nir Chehanowski exclusively for MoMa, looks like a 3D skull, but that's actually an optical illusion. The skull is just a sheet of acrylic glass with laser-cut lines outlining the shape of the skull. LED light travels up from the base, illuminating the lines and creating the 3D effect. The design is a minimalist statement piece, which is a hard combination to come by.
