Alabama Power project will bring energy cost savings for City of Jemison

Mayor Eddie Reed of Jemison announced that Alabama Power would be upgrading the city’s streetlights to LEDs. There are 370 street lights. Similar projects have been done in Clanton and Thorsby. The operation will reduce the cost of the towns power bill. (Photo Lahti213).
