DOS Int'l Korea debuts new LED mask

Light therapy or LED treatments have been around for over 30 years and were used by dermatologists in treating inflammation and post-treatment wound recovery.

The earlier devices were big and heavy, using low- or high-pressure lamps, which can only be used as a clinical device. With LED being manufactured as a light source, it has become lighter and smaller. However, power is still a problem to transform these big clinical devices into at-home devices.

With 2,340 pcs (LED 2,100/IR 240) LED lights built-in the device, the high output LED mask will reach the face uniformly without any blind spots. Unlike the common LED masks that offer in multiple colors, the YouniqueW-SMART focuses on only one function -- anti-aging. Using only red collagen lights, the user can enjoy a wavelength of 633nm that penetrates the dermis and stimulates fibroblasts, inducing the skin cells to produce collagen.
