Students give high school LED lighting makeover

Junior and senior Center for Technical Education Innovation students at Leominster, Massachusetts have been busy changing all of the lighting in the high school and their portion of the building from fluorescent to LED with bulbs and lights given to the school through a grant from National Grid.

National Grid is providing about $205,000 worth of lights for the project and, according to CTEi electrical teacher Dan Brew, it is costing the school district just over $9,000 total out of pocket.
