10,100 LED Street Lamps Along Saint-Laurent's Roads
Over the past six years, no less than 10,100 street lamps in Saint-Laurent (Canada) have been replaced with LEDs (light-emitting diodes).
This smart lighting system has many advantages: savings on energy costs (-50%) and maintenance costs (-55%), improved visibility and reduced light pollution.
This project corresponds to the objectives of Saint-Laurent's 2016-2020 Local greenhouse gas emissions reduction plan (corporate component), particularly aimed at cutting down on electricity consumption for street lighting.
