The Three Philips Xperion 6000 Flood Lights Recognized with Prestigious Red Dot and IF Accolades

The three Philips Xperion 6000 Flood light series have been honored with two highly esteemed international design awards for 2023. The Red Dot award recognizes products that demonstrate outstanding design, and the Red Dot jurors praised the Xperion 6000 Flood’s functionality and ability to create an optimized working environment. Concept, function, and adaptability are the areas in which the Philips Flood lights scored highest for the iF Design Award jurors. Both competitions attract thousands of entries annually and are judged by design experts worldwide.

The Red Dot Design Award, whose origins date back to the 1950s, is internationally recognized for highlighting the best in design and innovation. The Product Design category draws entries from sectors as diverse as fashion, robotics, and sports equipment. Submissions are evaluated on criteria including functional performance and aesthetics, with the jury awarding the prized Red Dot to products that set new standards in design.

Celebrating skillful design for nearly 70 years, the iF Design Awards provide an arena for quality and creativity of design in a range of disciplines. Working in groups of three, jurors rate each entry against five specific benchmarks. In 2023 from a pool of over 10,000 products and projects, the Philips Xperion 6000 flood lights range was chosen as a clear winner in the tools category.
