Sunbrite Solutions Rebrands as Boss Lighting Following Acquisition
Sunbrite Solutions, a maker of advanced lighting systems for off-road, marine, and tactical applications, has rebranded as Boss Lighting after being acquired by Manufacturing Corporation of America (MCA), a Nashville, Tennessee-based industrial holding company.
The company is currently relocating to a new 7,500-square-foot facility on Old Burnt Store Road in unincorporated Punta Gorda. This move, which began on May 19, marks a shift from its previous location on Airpark Drive near Punta Gorda Airport.
Jim Grady, founder of Sunbrite Solutions, will remain on board as president and is actively expanding the team. He aims to grow the staff to 25 employees by fall, and to 60 by next year.
MCA, which owns Boss Lighting, specializes in acquiring long-standing industrial manufacturing businesses. Its goal is to preserve their legacy and technical expertise while driving innovation and growth.
