AUO and faytech Sign Micro-LED MOU
The agreement was signed on Friday, August 7, 2026, at AUO’s headquarters in Hsinchu, Taiwan. It formalizes cooperation between the two companies in product development, integration, manufacturing and go-to-market activities, with the aim of accelerating the deployment of transparent Micro-LED displays in commercial and industrial applications.
Under the agreement, AUO and faytech will work on joint development projects combining AUO’s Micro-LED display technology with faytech’s expertise in designing, manufacturing and servicing touch monitors, touch PCs and optical bonding.
The companies aim to develop turnkey transparent display solutions that combine high optical performance with touch functionality, optical bonding and system integration. The solutions will target applications in retail, transportation, hospitality and smart buildings, as well as other high-traffic environments.
The MOU was signed by Arne Weber, Managing Founder of faytech, and Dr. Wei-Lung Liau, Chief Technology Officer at AUO Corporation.
