Phoenix Replacing All Street Lights with LEDs

The city of Phoenix Street Transportation Department announced work on the initial phase for the LED street light conversion project begins August 14. The initial phase will be conducted throughout downtown Phoenix, the Garfield Neighborhood and Bethany Home Road between Central and 15th avenues. A map with the locations included in the initial work phase is available on the city’s LED program webpage at phoenix.gov/LED.
