BenQ Debuts 4LED Immersive Short Throw Projector

BenQ unveiled the TH690ST, the world’s first 4LED video party projector with preset game modes for bringing big entertainment to any gathering. With short throw ratio for projecting 100” pictures in as small as a 4.9 ft. room, the TH690ST features 98% Rec.709, 84% DCI-P3 color gamut, HDR compatibility, universal connectivity and lightning-fast 8.3ms response time, making it the perfect addition to any party.

The TH690ST 1080p gaming projector delivers 2300 lumens of 4LED brightness and projects 1.07 billion colors, allowing for the projector to be used in bright settings for complete visual immersion. With 30,000 hours of LED Light source, enhanced contrast ratio powered by LED Dynamic Black Technology and 5Wx2 chambered treVolo speakers, the TH690ST places gamers directly in the action. The TH690ST is also 4K HDR compatible with low input lag (1080p@60Hz : 16ms,1080p @120Hz : 8ms, 4K@60Hz : 16 ms but downscaling to 1080p.)

The TH690ST is equipped with specialized modes for optimizing the gaming experience, including fast mode to minimize response time and enhance the controlling experience, and game mode to adjust brightness based on surroundings. With HDMI 2.0b and universal connectivity, the TH690ST is compatible with all gaming consoles, including PlayStation 5, XboX Series X and Nintendo Switch.
