Ukrainians have already received 12 million LED lamps

Ukrainian citizens have already received a total of 12 million LED lamps in exchange for old incandescent lamps, which makes it possible to save up to 600 megawatts of energy.

This is roughly equivalent to more than half of the generation of the most powerful nuclear power plant unit, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said in his address.

 From February 25, large and small villages joined the program, whose residents can exchange five old incandescent lamps for the same number of LEDs at Ukrposhta offices, as well as with the help of mobile postal points.
