PG&E to covert 229 Atherton street lights to LEDs
Pacific Gas & Electric will spend two or three weeks converting 229 utility-owned street lights in Atherton to LEDs this summer, allowing the town to save on its utility bills. PG&E says the process will involve a bucket truck with one- or two-person crews and take only about 10 minutes per light. Town-owned lights will not be affected, but the town also has plans to convert its lights to LEDs in the near future. Residents may request the town install reflectors to redirect the light if needed.
