Visalia's street lighting project nears completion

Tulare County is lighting up the way for energy efficiency across the state...and street. Southern California Edison workers are nearly done installing LED lamps at 5,500 company-owned poles in Visalia, giving the company the largest, latest milestone in a massive regional infrastructure-improvement project. In total, nearly 6,100 lights in Visalia will be part of the project. In economic terms, SCE said the new fixtures will mean an estimated $25,000 in savings annually.
