BenQ unveils ScreenBar Halo 2 monitor-mounted lamp

BenQ has introduced the ScreenBar Halo 2, a monitor-mounted lamp designed to enhance visual comfort during extended computer use. This latest iteration builds upon its predecessor by offering improved lighting quality, user-friendly features, and a design aimed at reducing eye strain.

The ScreenBar Halo 2 employs an asymmetrical optical design that directs light away from the screen, effectively minimizing glare and reflections. This design ensures that the workspace is well-lit without causing discomfort to the eyes. 

Equipped with full-spectrum LEDs, the lamp boasts a high Color Rendering Index (CRI) of over 96, ensuring that colors appear natural and vibrant. This feature is particularly beneficial for professionals engaged in tasks requiring accurate color representation, such as photo editing and graphic design.

A built-in ambient light sensor allows the ScreenBar Halo 2 to automatically adjust its brightness to maintain optimal lighting conditions, adhering to the recommended 500 lux for office environments.

The lamp comes with a wireless control dial, allowing users to easily adjust brightness and color temperature settings without physically touching the lamp.
