Mitchell City Council (South Dakota) to consider installing LED street lights
The Mitchell City Council will consider approving the installation of LED street lights and pedestrian buttons along a portion of Sanborn Boulevard during Monday’s meeting at City Hall.
The LED street lights and pedestrian buttons would be installed along Sanborn Boulevard at the intersections of First, Fifth, Seventh and 12th avenues.
The city is recommending Muth Electric’s bid for the installation of the LED light fixtures, which came in at $23,540, roughly $7,000 lower than TK Electric’s $30,841 bid.
