Lighting Company Hobolite Rebrands as Harlowe

Hobolite is no more. The company, known for its LED photography lighting, will now be called Harlowe.

While the parent company remains AEC Lighting Solutions, the rebranding to Harlowe signifies “a pivotal shift in the company’s identity and strategic direction.”

Harlowe explains that the name was chosen as a tribute to the Golden Age of Cinema, a period marked by creativity and innovation, capturing the timeless artistry and boundless potential that light brings to the creative process.

Additionally, the name is inspired by the Greek word “Har,” meaning mountain, symbolizing the company’s journey of growth, resilience, and exploration. This transformation reflects their pursuit of new creative heights while staying true to their core values and commitment to exceptional lighting solutions.
