Cutting-Edge Video Wall Unveiled At Darien High School

Darien High School this week unveiled a cutting-edge LED video wall in its auditorium, which was provided through a grant from The Darien Foundation.

The video wall will be used by students in music, theater, art, technology and other STEAM classes to collaborate on and create innovative digital content for school events, presentations, performances, and more.

The wall features high-resolution display capabilities and vibrant colors, and it was mounted on an electronic hoist system allowing it to be raised and lowered as needed.

An unveiling ceremony was held on Sept. 10 where attendees were shown a demonstration of the equipment's capabilities.

Installation of the 72-panel video wall was part of comprehensive audio and video upgrades at the auditorium.

Superintendent of Darien Public Schools Dr. Alan Addley called the video wall an "amazing teaching and learning resource for our students, staff and community."
