Mike Lorenz leaves Ephesus to start own sports lighting sales firm

The president of Eaton's Syracuse-based Ephesus Sports Lighting business has left the company, but only to start his own firm that will serve as Eaton's sports lighting sales and service provider. Mike Lorenz launched NGU Sports Lighting LLC, based in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., last week after serving as interim chief operating officer of Ephesus for two years and then as president for four years. "The LED sports lighting industry has exploded now that solid-state lighting solutions are a reality for venues of all sizes, from professional stadiums and arenas to recreational fields," said Lorenz, who is NGU's chief executive officer in addition to being
