Renewable Energy and Power Commences Sales of Germicidal LED Ceiling Panel Lighting
LED lighting and power solutions company, Renewable Energy and Power announced commencing its marketing campaign for sales of its patent-pending germicidal LED lighting fixture after successfully completing hundreds of hours of burn-in testing.
Additionally, a second provisional patent has been submitted for slightly different designs of the unit, allowing it to be placed in virtually every type of LED ceiling panel lighting, in both new fixtures and easily retrofit to existing lighting.
Each LED ceiling panel light processes 5.3 cubic feet per minute of ambient air, moving it through a HEPA filter to remove particulate matter and passing it before an ultraviolet germicidal irradiation (UVGI) light to destroy pathogens.
TheLED Sterilization Panel Light provides a more effective and lower cost alternative to any other method of air purification, including that provided in central air circulation systems. Clinical studies show that for truly effective cleansing of the air, it must be passed not once but multiple times through UVGI lights. With the company’s UVGI unit in ceiling panel lights, the ambient air will constantly be re-exposed to the sterilization process over and over again, assuring far more effective cleansing.
