Signify Debuts MyCare LED Lamp with Glare-Reducing Optics

Signify (previously known as Philips Lighting) of Eindhoven, the Netherlands, announced the Philips MyCare LED bulb with Interlaced Optics. The company designed the patented Interlaced Optics technology to enhance eye comfort. Previously Philips Lighting (before it became Signify) published a white paper about their newly trademarked metric EyeComfort. According to Philips, EyeComfort, looks at several factors about lighting including, glare, flicker and stroboscopic effect; photobiological safety in terms of blue, UV, and IR light output; Dimming, tuneability, color rendering and noise.
