Magenta Theater wins lighting grant

Magenta Theater won a matching grant from the Murdock Charitable Trust to upgrade its stage lighting system. Magenta raised $62,000 and earned an additional $62,000 from Murdock, according to a statement from founder and creative director Jaynie Roberts. The current tungsten lighting system will come down in February, as soon as Magenta’s production of “Jeeves Takes a Bow” has closed. A new LED stage lighting system will debut with the March production, “Pack of Lies.”
